So my computer's all better now. Despite the fact that it was more or less useless when we sent it away, apparently there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Moreover, it is now working better than it was before we sent it away, despite not having anything done to it.

And i just use the start up to run a scan to see what was wrong and it showed.
